Karissa’s teacher tells us what makes Karissa a Triple-Impact Competitor®: “Karissa Olsen is a Triple-Impact Competitor as an eleventh-grade student at Wesley Chapel High School. She was recognized and awarded the Outstanding Physical Science Student Medallion this year based on her dedication to and mastery of the Physics Honors curriculum. Miss. Olsen also excels in Advanced Placement coursework and maintains a stellar 4.0 GPA. She is a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes club at Wesley Chapel High School and is involved in various fellowship activities at Grace Community Church such as assisting with service set-up and volunteering. Miss. Olsen’s dedication to her community and her school are among the best I have seen in my fifteen years as an educator. She works tirelessly to bring everyone else around her up by volunteering in meal preparation for Metropolitan Ministries and the TOPS Soccer Organization for students with special needs. Miss. Olsen embodies the characteristics of being a student-athlete. She is competitive on the soccer field and helped her team reach the Regional Finals for the first time in school history. She honors the game of soccer by being a coach for the past six years, serving as a referee and competing with various other soccer teams and also helping those teams to advance to high levels of competitiveness.”
